Have you ever stood before a judge in court?

Judge's Gavel - I've never stood before a judge in court, I think that it would be pretty neat to be on jury duty someday.

Was it a scary experience? What was the case all about?

Yes, but it was only traffic court. It took about 5 seconds and I was out of there.

The only time I've ever stood in front of a judge in a courtroom was when I got married. And, yes, that was a scary experience.

Just once for a traffic ticket. By the time I was called up I wasn't really nervous because the 20 people ahead of me were all caught in the same snare as I, and anyone who had a clean driving record he let go with a lesser fine and no points, so I was confident that is what I would get with my clean record also. Oh, and jury duty once, I asked to be let out because I was a full-time student, and he let me go. I did work in a courthouse though, so I got to know the judges. Most of them were pretty cool.

Yes, I have done so a couple of times. It was always regarding a Domestic Violence dispute of some sort, and getting a Restraining order against that person.

A few times when I was a juvenile. Mostly for fighting and under age drinking. Lucky for me a grew up and realized the path I was taking was leading to nowhere.

This is kind of like the courtroom I was in. - This room looks similar to the one I was in.
When I was 11 years old or maybe 12 years old I had to stand in front of a judge and face the woman who ran me down with her car while I was crossing the street in a crosswalk. Being that young it was very scary!

Yes but not as u experienced. Also many people of the opinion that u R guilty before a judge. Please take it from me most of the people before a judge is framed and innocents. That is how the system works. For genuine crimes the accused never fear the judgement or the judge he accepts the crime. All others are corrupt police officials pawns.
