Half Moon Bay

I like the footprints, and the sea foam (or is it froth?) reaching for them. I like it all, actually, is that a yellowish half moon? The beach suddenly reminded me of one of my all-time favorite poems, Dover Beach. Must be becaues of the cliffs. Happy mylotting!

I guess we Aussie's are spoiled for beaches; so while I take lots of beach breaks, I really prefer the rain forests and the deserts. Your beach photos are quite evocative: although straightening the horizon would have been so easy on both that I don't know why you didn't, especially in the "footprints" photo...that would have eliminated the pointless bit of sky and concentrated attention on your fine study of the waves and prints. The second picture would benefit from a judicious saturation adjustment, and would be so much better if those burnt-out highlights were toned down a little....only in my opinion, of course.

I love the beach in Biarritz, France. Beautiful water and a lovely beach( as long as you don't mind topless lol). I think that the town of Biarritz is also wonderful. There are many little shops and fantastic restaurants to choose from. There are also natural rock formations over the water. You can take a short hike and take in the view. It is really stunning to watch the sunset from there. I have never been to Half Moon Bay, but I love to travel, so maybe I will get there someday.
