How r Affiliate Programs? Nebody Earning from it?

I heard a lot about affiliate programs. Has any body earned from it till yet? If yes then how much? I am aware of many affiliate websites who offer high commissions. But feel that it may not be possible. So anybody earned something then do tell me.

Yep they are really paying. I cant show off my earnings from affiliates here :P
