New Year is just around the corner. And for the past 28 years of my life, new year celebrations come and go but the superstitious beliefs stays each year. Example of these beliefs are the following: 1. Wearing of polka-dot clothes 2. Preparing 12 kinds of circular fruits 3. Jumping at 12 midnight of the new year 4. Producing loud noises 5. Lighting firecrackers There are lots more but those are the most popular ones. Do you follow these beliefs? What more can you add on the list? Do you believe in them? Why do we have to follow them?

Wow! It is more like a Halloween party than a New Year's celebration. Anyways, that's nice to know. I always have the impression that I can learn something new in mylot.

hahaha I used to follow all those beliefs when I was a child. I don't know if any of those are true But I did have a lot of fun following them. Besides, one can never have too much good luck in this life.

Our parents make me do those things when I was a kid. Specially the "jumping" thing. I was kinda small then so they told me to jump every New Year. Well, I'll be seeing those beliefs again soon. Happy New Year to you and your family anaknitatay!
