is there an after life

I genuinely believe that there is something after this life although I have no idea exactly what that might be. I'm thinking that it's some kind of spirit world which we inhabit. I don't believe in a Heaven or a Hell, I think these two words have been created over time! I like the idea about what many people refer to; when they are on the operating table they seem to leave their bodies and float around the room before being dragged into a dark tunnel and seeing a bright light at the other end. I think this is some kind of indication that there's something on the other side. Andrew
