Ranatunga sacked from board! Its Surprising.

I am amzed when i learnt that Ranatunga has been sacked by the Sri lankan minister after the staff cuts he was involved in. I couldn't believe this! I believed he is the one who could produce a real fighting team for Sir Lanka in the upcoming World cup. Now what?
