Its a very disappointing time for Gautam Ghambir. He has scored the highest runs in the last two series. He has been the most successful batsman for the two series. But he does not get the Man of the series awards. After the last series also he expressed that he was disappointed when he didn't get the award. Now he would have felt even bad. Last time it was Ishant and now it is Zaheer's turn to get the man of the series. How do you look at this situation?

its very simple..if it is ODI match or 20-20 match, you can win those matches even without one strike bowler or even if you dont have a bowler but when it comes to test matches, you dont get 20 wickets, dont think about winning.batsmen are considered when there is no good performance from the bowlers .sure straus hit 2 centuries, gambir hit some good scores but its zaheer khan who took 8 wickets in 2 matches and u have to agree that its been a series winning performance.if it is not for zaheer, someone else would have gotten it.its going to take a long time for an indian batsman to get that man of the series award when our bowlers are on fire now..happy lotting
