life from mylot? I was thinking about this just now I think that would be neat wouldn't it? I mean we spend a lot of time on here learning and sharing our thoughts, feelings and our days with each other right?
So if you ever had the chance to meet someone off of mylot would you? If not why would you not? Let me know peeps, and Happy mylotting? Merry Christmas Eve.

I probably would if I liked them and a lot in common with them I used to belong to a forum here that was local and they used to have meetings every now and then, I never did go to any of the meetings but I did meet a couple of the young ones from the net that didn't live too far from me but the ones who did go to the meets all the time would go all over the country meeting each other...

oh, wow, lilaclady. that is quite expensive and exhausting to be doing. meeting regularly and then exerting enough efforts to be meeting in one place is not an easy thing to do. it means that there is budget for it and time to spare, too.
it would be nice, though to meet some mylot friends considering how comfortable we are with each other around here. just to see if i can communicate with friends online just as well in person. but not regularly. most probably, i cannot allocate time for it even on a monthly basis.

except for my daughter who taught me how to do mylot, i have never met anyone else. i know that there are some who are doing mylot in the city where i am situated right now, but i have never considered exerting any effort at all to meet one.
if someone will show interest to meet me personally and make the offer, perhaps i will accept it. however, i am not good at talking to people at all. most probably, this is the reason why i have always been good at expressing myself in written form.

I have never met anyone from myLot. I have some friends whom I have joined as referral in myLot. I would be happy to meet someone from myLot. I think there are lots of people from my place and country in myLot. I had seen lots of discussions started by people from my place. I really would love to meet someone from myLot. I think it is fun to meet them.

I haven't yet met anybody from myLot in real life, but my wife and I have met a couple of people who we first knew only on another forum. One lives in a nearby city and we have now met that person twice for lunch when we were in that city. Another lives in another state but her daughter goes to a college in this state, so when she came to visit her daughter we met both of them in a nearby town and enjoyed a nice lunch together.
So...if the opportunity ever arrives to meet somebody I've become friends with here on myLot I expect my wife and I will take advantage of it. But we'll of course meet in a public place just to be sure to each other that we're who we come across as being while we're online.

If I get a chance to meet someone I shall meet the member along with my husband and friends. It would be a very good moment. And why should I not meet the member? When there is noting to lose. A face to face interaction will increase the friendship.
