Everyone know smoking is very injurious to health. The mixture of nicotine and carbon monoxide in the cigarette causes heart attacks and stroke. The smoke also causes cancer.Even after knowing all these, some of your friends may be smokers. When you are in their company, you also inhale some smoke, and your health also get spoiled. As a good friend, did you ever persuade your friends to quit smoking? What is your experience with smoking friends?Did you suceed in persuading some one to quit smoking?

I always ask them to quit smoking, the worst things it that they don't even give an ear to that. They even wants me to join them. One day I ask them that if I start smoking, would they quit it? They said, yes. so, I smoke that day. It was horrible but the next day they when I asked them to keep their words, they said, it was only for fun. Now, I don't say anything to them PS: I don't smoke.

Hi sanuanu, Thank god that they did not make you a smoker. It is better if you keep yourself away from the smoke, whenever they smoke. Because you may be inhaling more smoke than them.

yes, passive smoking is also dangerous to health. Trying to get away from them while they are smoking. They will always make fun out of me that I am not a man and I am like girls. I don't care about this quotes.

this is not a easy way to persuade them to quit smoking, perhaps in a short times they will adopt to you advice, but it just a short times, not for long, they will have it again.at least,i think so.

Hi Vanities, You are really lucky that you have no smoking friends. And you are very lucky that your hubby quit smoking.Otherwise your kids will suffer.

I tried once but did not get the success, because to quit smoking one need the will power and interest to do that then only one can leave it, but I know one person who quit smoking only after getting his first heart attack at the age of 31 only, now he is totally leaving without smoking as well as drinking, which he used to do a lot in the recent past
