I would say Argentina was the best as they played aganist full stregnth teams in brazil and a very talented Nigerian team in the Olympics without most of thier senior players, on the other hand Spain were brilliant aganist esp Germany and I think they were the most talented, United as world champions I think is well deserved but to be honest I doubt the competition in the championship to put it in another way if there was a 3 way-league between ManU,Spain and Argentina, I think Spain will win

I choose Spain. Finally, they performed as a unit and won their first major world title. Spain is always a major letdown at the international level. Despite having the most decorated club i.e. Real Madrid, at national level, Spain failed to impress many soccer spectators. But at the Euro 2008, they finally conquered Europe's prestige title. Congrats!

i do not think it is a fair comparison to compare national teams and clubs. Also it is difficult to compare argentina who won the olympics as that was an U23 team with 3 senior players. All these teams have their own merits and it really depends on who has the best form on that day to beat each other. I like Spain and Argentina. I think England is overrated. Spain has strong forwards while argentina play good fast and attacking football. Man u is also doing well but there are easily many other teams on par, if not better than them at the moment like Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona, Juventus etc. We should see in the Champion League soon

I would say Argentine because that was U-23 team without real superstars (except Messi and Aguero). Euro 2008 was kinda crappy so I have to say ManU just because they beat some of the best teams in the world!
