MyLot - MyLot earnings and a software mistake

When I started (4 days ago) I was thinking about earning more and more every day. Lets say that was my basic idea. I really didn't change average number of post, even of Wednesday I had more post than on Thursday. I just change the quality of it and length. As you can see that idea is working and I'm really happy. But this discussion is more about that calculating mistake. That happens only to me or there are some others with the same mistake? I still love you MyLot! :)

It means if we write longer posts we will earn more...??So the number of post really doesn't matter here, but will you please explain how to improve the quality of the posts and if we are replying someone then also we have to write longer posts.

It means for example if u wrote 30 posts with 2 sentences and 25 posts with 5 sentences, you would get paid more for those 25 posts. You can improve quality of the post by including your opinion, some statistics, even quotes. It's like when a professor ask you something and you try to give him/her the best answer you got!

I do observed that too and its been very effective to post a long comment with a good quality of course. Mostly like 5 above liners is much better. It really makes difference when it comes to earnings. That is why most people here especially those who are here for couple of years already don't respond with just one liner. You see mylot gives better rewards to those who contribute quality post not just by writing for the sake of earning. They reward those who make an effort to share their thoughts compared to those who just respond only with few words.

Interesting concept regarding the length and quality of posts her at MyLot. I suggest too, to keep an eye on the tags used by the discussion poster if you are going to respond to a post and try to use those tag words and word in the discussion title of your response. I think that this adds to the quality of the post. As well as in response to a discussion, try to use some of the words that the poster of the discussion has used. Personally, I often write length responses but have not noticed a marked difference in my earnings. I shall take a closer look at this and thank you for the heads up. Cheers.

I was told quite a while ago the longer the post the better. Bascially I guess you need to really explain your answer that way the page looks better. And people understand more of what you are trying to say. I have been trying to do this now and it seems money is going up faster. I know that I will not get rich with my lot but I feel if I can make and extra 10 or 20 a month I would be very happy. Happy mylotting to all! :)

hey man, when i started here in mylot. i thought i would get one cent per post (short) and if longer we would get more than that. but it turns out to be different. I realize this on my third day! that i have to post long repsonds or discussion in order to receive higher paid. so i posted like 25 posts and 15 of them about 3 lines. guess what's my earning is.... 23 cents, yeah 23 cents for 15 long post and 10 short ones. I have no idea how do they calculate... does anyone know?
