Have You Ever Seen An Animal That Shouldn't Be In Your Area?

I was coming home one day and I saw a fox. I thought it was a dog, but when I slowed down and put on the breaks I got a good look at it. It was a fox, and it was the first time I saw one. The strange thing about it is I don't live anywhere near the woods. I know a lot of the neighborhoods in my city that are wooded areas have a lot of different types of wild life. The only animals I'm used to seeing on my side of town are dogs, cats, rats, and birds. My mom was saying that she feels people keep wild animals as pets and then get rid of them so they end up on our side of town. They've been tearing down forests to build a lot of new neighborhoods, so that could be driving the animals out of there homes too. So have you ever seen an animal that you felt shouldn't have been where you live?
