I have been doing a lot of business surfing. I have spent many hours trying to figure out where I want to put most of my attention. The attention I'm talking about is making money. I'm new to mylot and so far I'm getting my feet wet with the blogging. I know to make more money I should have my own blog. A Niche blog with affilates, referrals. Is there others ways to make more money. I want to put my efforts into only one or two good paying businesses. My husband would like to leave his job of 33 years and together hopefully find another way of income. Where do you see the internet heading in 2009?

The internet has an abundance of opportunities to make money online. Whether you need a full time job or a part time income earner on the side, there is definite potential. There are 16 year old kids making $10k per MONTH. I was just as shocked as you are. On the same hand, there are people that have been trying to make money online for upwards of 2 years and still can't make $1 online. Persistence, perseverance, and patience! (And tons of hard work :) ).

Hi Tinted black,
I know that making money online is not those get rich quick scams. So when you speak about persistance,perserverance and patience it is more inline with honest ways of making money. I just want to be directed to those honest ways of making money online. My character is that of Persistance,perserverance and patience.

Making money online is not easy no matter what you have been told
but it can be done
if you or your husband plan to quit your job in favour of an online business
be very careful!!
i would suggest you take six months to a year of earning online BEFORE you put all your hopes in it
affiliate marketing is by far the best option as it can be done for under one hundred dollars per month and the income is unlimited if you get set up correctly
i assume you have a a bankroll for your business, good - getting started is the easy part but starting right takes seed money

Hi Michaelburke and thank you for your response. I was rasied don't quit your job unless you have another one. That also means one that is going to pay the bills of the previous one. I know starting out is going to take some time and perserverance. I have been reading about affilate marketing and this is where you can make some money. Sounds like you are doing this. If you want to make money online Mylot is a good idea but if you want to earn a living from it, I think ou need to go elsewhere...
You could try eBay, I have been using it for years and made a fair bit of money from it. Buy low and sell a little higher... every little bit helps.

Hi Gohan and thank you for your response. I've only been new to Mylot for 2days and already I'm enjoying. I know now a days you need to have lots of ways of making money. Ebay is also a good way to bring in some. My husband sells some sports items from time to time. I have been reading about Blogging and having Affilate links. I just found out today E-bay could be one of those affilate links.
Every bit helps like you said.
