After 20 years of marriage, I find that this too is happening to me. Sometimes I think it's cute, but most of the time it's annoying. I want to express myself and I don't need someone else, regardless of who it is, to speak for me. I also find myself biting my tongue when tempted to finish his sentences because I don't want to do to him what annoys me.

I agree, most of the time, but some times it is ok. If someone asks me a qustion and my husband answers, he KNOWS he crossed the line.. Thanks for sharing! Happy New Year!

My fiance and I do not finish each other's sentences, not yet anyway. I think it's cute though more then annoying but I guess it's anyone's perspective. I guess if you hear it enough it can be annoying.

I think it is part of being a one flesh, is it not? I have known several couples who are close to each other say they are able to know about what their spouses will say next. It is probably due to being with each so much that you just learn each other's responses to certain things, and can predict with great accuracy what that response will be.
