Hitting your partner.

India

This is not a nice question to ask, but have you physically hit or slapped your parner, I have seen some people fighting in public and once I even saw a decent looking young man slapping his wife in public in a beach, I was ashamed to see such indecent behaviour in public. Now the law is changed in India, and if the wife or girl friend complains about this to the police, they have to immediately take action against the person. So what is your response to this?

I am not in the habit of hitting anyone. I may talk about it, try to make things clear but I never believed that physical violence ever solved anything. Cheers!!

I just not seen it ramen, have friend also stayed for awhile here at my place, for she was hitted by his husband, a lot of bruises in her arms and legs, and a black eye too. She stays for one month, but when heal wounds she come back for her family. :( I guess she is used to it for she's been abused since the first year of their marriage.

i have never been hit nor abused nor do i come from a violent family. but i do see such occurrence on the streets and my respect for the guy just goes down the drain. as a man, be like one and tolerate the woman. i always believe that one results to physical violence when they lose out in words (which is a coward's act). and yes, if your man starts turning abusive, dump the bugger. he is not worth it at all. you deserve much better than him.
