Is my 1997 mustang GT broken????

pulling away from the stoplight,as clutch was engaging, pedal felt as if it were vibrating(slightly),suddenly when I shifted into 2nd loud squealing noise started! I accelerated (+5mph),noise stopped for 1to2 minutes, then got louder and only stopped when clutch disengaged (no problem with shifting through gears, no "grinding" sounds or feeling)but squealing noise is now extremely LOUD! This whole scenario took place in 5to7 minutes I can't find anything in my "chilton's"
