My wife bought a PC that has Vista, and I really miss XP. It took me a while to get used to it, and once I got comfortable with it she changed it up on me. Is there any hope on the horizon that Windows will be coming up with something a little better than Vista?

I felt the same way when I purchased my new laptop a few months ago. I knew I'd have to make the transition from XP to Vista. After a while with it now though I much enjoy Vista over XP. The updates are far superior than in XP and it's a little more user friendly. There are a few things you have to search for but that comes from being familiar with XP more than anything else. To answer your question though, at this point and time, I have heard small whispers of a new operating system in development for Windows but nothing concrete. It's certainly not enough to get your hopes up.
