I heard 2012 is the end of this world

I've heard about this too. Apparently since the Mayan calander ends in 2012 (does anyone know a month/date?) the world ends with it. I hear it's a giant meteor that's gonna do us all in.

if you believe it any time someone tells you the world is gonna end... it would have ended many times.. Theres always a change that the world is gonna end tommorow. I just dont think about it..

Really? And I thought that the end of this world was this, 2008, year. And tell me it did not bring much suffering and surprises, hmm?

I believe that is when the Mayan calender ends. They believe the world will change then, it doesn't actually end according to their belief as I understand it.
