Hi, after three months of just staying at home and just doing extra income online, I was hired and started my training last night in one of the call center here in Makati. Actually, this is not my first time in the call center, I already worked as an inbound and outbound rep for almost three years, I just resigned to my previous employer. And here I am again...It's nice to be back.lol! Who here are working in a call center and who here wanted to be part of it ? and why?

way back then i was interested in working at call centers since they earn a lot. but now i refuse to work in call center... the job is too stressful.. you really need to watch your health if you are a call center agent..

Working as a call center agent is actually a last resort for me... like if i lose my job and cannot find another one that pays good... then there is nothing i can do but apply and then work as a call center agent... since they are not very choosy... and they train their new employees... It is a good way of earning good money... but i heard it is quite stressful because of the work hours... but then... we all have to make sacrifices... just to earn a living...

Hi There! I am a help desk for airlines technical support, it is still 24/7 right now… For the past 4 years of my life, I worked for Linksys as Technical Support Specialist as well and I loved it… I just have to make a career move since I want a higher compensation and salary…. Though it is still call center… I like working as a call center agent… no regrets… I am a computer science graduate and I am still using my knowledge as a tech support since I am supporting Linksys/Cisco devices… Though at one point, I really want a day job, you know, normal working hours so I get to spend time with my family with fixed rest days but for now, I will just enjoy working here. It is fun though hectic… just enjoy it as they say. Lolz. Goodluck! Thanks for the discussion! Happy New Year and Happy HOlidays! Cheers!

Being a call center agent is the last job that I'm going to grab, as I can hear it from others comment it is mostly on the graveyard shift and I hated that I've been working in a graveyard shift for one year and all I get is hypertension. And I want a job that I could say I can stay there for 20 years or so.

i worked in a call center about 4 years ago, stayed there for more than a year. it was stressful, you know, solving problems for other people.. but at the same time, it was also fun... lots of perks and stuff, and a nice salary for an undergrad. i was enjoying it much, my dad asked me to just resign and go back to school before i enjoy it more and forget about school.. so i did resign and waited 'til the next school year. I'm glad i resigned and have my life back on track.
