How do you choose your tags?

I've realized some tag and some don't. Now... how do you choose what words to put as tags? I personally just input some one or two-worded words as tags. These words would summarize roughly the gist of my discussion. What about you?

i just put the words which really hav got meaning in the discussion

it is easy to know what tags to use in a discussion. if the discussion is about food, then food, cooking, health and dining will be the tags to choose from. if it is about entertainment that will be movies, singing, television and the like. when we will be discussing about family then family, relationships, parenting are the possible ones. when we do tagging, we have to consider the topic at hand.
