When I was watching MTV, this weird message came up saying customers who are subscribed to these cable networks are going to lose MTV and 18 other channels. Is this for real? I hope a lot of people complain about it. They shouldn't take this out on the customers. . .the message popped up when I was watching Spike TV too. I hope they get this resolved and they DON'T take away our channels. . .I don't watch TV much but some of the channels they listed are the few channels I actually watch when I do watch TV. This blows.

I hear it is happening with several cable providers - Charter is dealing wtih CBS. Here is the article on Yahoo News about Time Warner and Viacom http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081231/ap_on_bi_ge/viacom_time_warner_cable;_ylt=AseQkDXS8b9NpIx2Uj1ZXUEDW7oF I also read the message on TV Land today that it and 18 other channels might be stopped at midnight tonight. Anyone know the reason they are all cutting out TV but not the price to have it?

Yeah, I saw that message too. I am a Cox customer, so I suppose it won't affect me. My brother-in-;law has Time Warner, so I think I will give him a clal today to see if he knows anything about it. why is it that when companies have a dispute their customers have to lose out?

Seriously. .they are going to lose a lot of customers if they don't resolve this. Maybe as one of the results of recession in the U.S? I have no idea why the dispute is about but that would be my guess. Something that has to do with money since all businesses are like that. .
