Why does it seem like fried chicken tastes better cold?

I hear ya. It does taste better cold and the next day. I used to always make a big big bunch of fried chicken before we went on a fishing trip, so we could eat it cold the next day. The kids loved it. My hubby now prefers his reheated, but I still love the cold chicken. I guess old habits die hard.

No, you're not crazy! I love cold fried chicken. It's really good. I always leave a few pieces of fried chicken so that I can eat it for lunch the next day. I'm not a leftover eater, but I'll eat leftovers if it's fried chicken. Yum... I am so hungry for that right now.
