Hello, I have to say that I am afraid of what will happen to us. With us we have 2 boys and as of now we rent. My hubby does not get over time any more. So there for we have no way to save. We pay 450 in rent for a place that is not worth it. We are behind on bills because we don't have enough money to live on. Let alone that we have diapers and such to buy. My hubby makes just about 1000 after tax a month so there for rent takes just about half of the money. I am afraid that we will end up on the street at some point. I honestly think if it was not for mylot and all the other online activity I do for money we would have been on the street a long time ago. We save pennies when we can. But this coming up year will be way more harder since our medical will go up another 47%. Which makes us paying over 300 dollars a month to keep us all on medical. Let alone that we pay 25 dollars every time we visit the doctors or get a prescription filled. It seems that the government don't care about us people health they only care about them selves. I believe that by the time 2009 is over with that families will have to bunk together just to make ends meet. I have to say that if this happens that we will be lucky to have a family that would bunk up with us. There is not a lot that we can do we will just have to sit and wait to see what happens. Happy Mylotting

i know exactly where you are coming from our insurance has gone up yet again too and they even dropped alot of the types of dr's they will pay for, i go to a chiropractor for my back and the insurance no longer covers it... they told me they would pay for back surgery tho ( which i wont get) so its either stop going or figure out a way to pay for it.. my oldest daughter is moving back home because both her and her fiance lost their jobs and its not a happy situation because i told her she was more then welcome to come home but he wasnt allowed to come with her.. but i do hope everything works out for you and your family, hopefully things will get better soon

hi,silkyt, the situation here in China is not very good either. Recently, some persons just graduated from the university can't find a good job, even if some one find a job, but they are paid poor. Hope everything will be ok in 2009.Best regards.:)

I know what you mean I have been thinking a lot about what if's. My husband has been having off more time now then ever before. We have 5 kids at home with 2 being babies. We have the normal bills and then 2 credit cards and a mortgage, along with our outside wood furnace that has to be paid off. It is scary at times. We live check to check and pay all that we can on the bills. We have already given up all extras other then the net and the dish. I wouldn't mind no TV but the hubby and kids disagree. Biggest problem is you get no channels without the dish where we are. I think the best we can do is just to keep doing what we are and basically hope.
