For myself, I love landscape photography and nature photography. I also like taking pictures of pets and other animals. I love taking pictures of my kids and grandkids. But I don't do much picture taking of other people, unless they are friends and their kids. My digital camera has the video option so I love taking videos of my grandkids and family and friends. I even have a photo blog but haven't put anything new on it lately. I won't put pictures of my family and grandkids on public display so all I put on the blog is nature pictures. What do you do with your photography?

I'm not sure why but I'm really drawn to black and white photography. I like other types of photos as well, but there is something about black and white that speaks to me. I think that attraction started when I was introduced to Ansel Adams work.

Black and white is really cool when dealing with shadows. It really is dramatic.

I love to take pictures of architecture, landscapes, the sky and macros. I also love black and white photography. I recently went and visited my new nephew and I enjoyed taking pictures of him. He was such a good model too. I may post some pics of him here soon.

A specialty? Nope. Nature, Macro, Panoramas, People, Wildlife, Action, Events... If you force the issue, I'll say Deserts and Rain forests, but that includes all that live in them. Have a look at www.davidrichphotography.org and see if you can pick a theme that I haven't recognised in my own picture making.

My favorite photography is with people, like fashion and modeling pictures. I like the settings and background they come up with and the clothes they wear in the pictures and that they have everything placed so it looks like they are just going about their normal life and it doesn't look all fake and posed.
