Do you really have friends if people from your work place don't hang out with you except at work? This has been a question that has been in my head for a while now!

hi money...so you're just friends at work. it's good to have friends at work. they help the day go better. they certainly aren't your enemies.

That is true. It does help the day go better. But I feel like I don't have any friends at work because we never communicate after work or before work.

i know what you mean. but just because you're not real close and involved they are still friends on a certain level. just not close. when i'v left a job and wanted to keep in touch with friends at work they wouldn't respond. seems like a lot of people don't want to make the effort.

friends are friends no matter where they are. so what if they don't hang out with you after work? as long as you enjoy being with them and you're civil with each other. anyway, if yoy really want to hang out with them after work why not invite them to after work drinks or such?

Yea, I think I should invite them over. Maybe then they would return the favor?
