It was great to see The Wings and the Blackhawks play outside at Wrigley's. and it was a good game.I hope The NHL plan more outdoor games. Question. Where should the next outdoor game be?Which teams should play?

As or right now talk is Montreal hosting next years or a Flyers vs Pens game. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing Phoenix play against Toronto, the most covered vs the least. Both are up and coming teams, and Toronto has the fan base to make sure the game is well attended. Sorry im becoming a closet Coyotes fan. Scary young team with one of the best goalies. Flames would be another choice, maybe them and Rangers. I really would like a Canadian team involved next year. If you want I will try and dig up where they are talking about having the games, both are pretty famous sites, I just cant think of it at the moment.

i dont think montreal was concidered much this year because of the heritage game against edmonton a few years ago. Same reason i don't think the Philly Pitt game will happen for a while, though the NHL does love having Crosby's mug everywhere so it may happen. I could see Toronto or Montreal getting it, Vancouver depending on a couple factores. How would that be, Toronto vs Vancouver... ok if u cant tell im a west coast fan...

Jared, don't be a closet Coyotes fan, You should be proud to be a fan. I know I am. I rarely get to see them play but I do root for them. I would love to see a Canadian team play next year. I would love to see a Edmonton-Calgary match up.

I think if they were going to go to Montreal they should have done it this year, being the centennial season and all. That being said, I'd like to see it come back North of the border and Montreal would be as ideal a spot as any.

I think the fourth installment next year will be at the new Yankee stadium. This concept is now officially starting to take off and it will benifit greatly from being in such a large media market. The Rangers are an original six team so maybe include them and a division rival. Though a Rangers/Islanders rivalry would look real good at Yankee stadium it doesn't make a lot of sense to have two teams essentially in the same market so I'd look at outside rivalries. Maybe New Jersey but again that's some close proximity. I may also suggest Pittsburgh, being a division rival and all, but they had their go at it last year. That being said, I'm sure the NHL would wet themselves at the opportunity to showcase Crosby on that kind of stage again, and in that kind of media market. So the match up that makes the most sense to me is Rangers and Penguins at Yankee Stadium.

The old yankee stadium was suggested this past year and never really paned out. I am not sure if the new one would. Personally I would like to see Canadian teams included so if it is the Rangers then bring out the Leafs and renew the old spirits.

My understanding is that it fell through due to the negative feedback from those in New York who felt it would be disrespectful to make the last event in Yankee Stadium a hockey game as opposed to something with the Yankees. If this is true then new Yankee Stadium with the added seats and press boxes would be like ringing in a new generation of fans, of baseball, of entertainment and as part of that celebration why not bring in the Outdoor Classic?
