As you know school is getting more expensive these days . When do you think that you should start saving or school? Also how much do you think you should save?

Search for grants! if you are in a position to be able to save then look into when you want to go and how long you are going to need to go. Break down what you will need to save into monthly amounts and try to make it a point of putting that aside. But seriously...grants are better. I got a grant to go to school and I don't have to pay anything. I was too thrilled.

We know that education is a right, but it also does not come free. It's always a good habit to save. And saving for school is also good, because it will teach you the value of money and at the same time, you can help your parents in supporting for your needs at school. I guess the key is to spend money wisely and try to think entrepreneur. You can start saving by making a little business out of something you like to do. If you are into craft, you can make little things and sell them. If you are into cooking, you can cook some and sell it to your friends also. If you can manage your time, you can also accept a part time job that will not affect your studies. But if you are not into any of these, I guess the best way to save the money you are receiving from your parents is to use it wisely, how? Learn how to window shop and prioritize the things you will buy from your money. Save even a few peso or dollar a day, big things start from small beginnings, it will not matter really how much you are keeping each day, what's important is that you are keeping little by little and you know that when the time comes that you will need money for your school, you can get from your savings and lessen the amount you will ask from your parents. There is really not a right time to start saving, i believe that saving should be a habit, the idea of saving is to prepare for the future.
