your top 10 horror movies

I would like to know or heat about yout top 10 horror movies idea list. Reason being, I just might heat about a old or new movie I'd never seen before. And I have seen a lot of them.

I am not a big fan of most horror movies. But the ones that I like best are Stephen King's movies. I liked Storm of the century, rose red, IT, The shinning, The Stand, Maximum Overdrive, Carrie, Children of the corn and Langoliers just to name a few. He has made so many movies that there are just too many to list.

I not really a big fan of SK's horror movies, myself, because I feel that the movies don't do the book justice. I guess I'm one of those people that say the book is better than the movie. Because if I read a story and then go see the movie, a lot of times the movie doesn't live up to my expectations. Like the movie will leave out whole side plot lines. Or won't get as explictive as the book got. Even SK complained about this. Like the real story of "IT" is really crazy, and the story "The Shining" is really crazy!!!
