Do you really need a doctor ?

Very often many of us fall ill.We go to the doc for advice,but do we really follow his prescription strictly ?many of us really don't care his advice.we all think that the doc knows very little.we know the real problem because we are the sufferers.we believe in buying medicines over the counter & taking them,no matter what is the outcome.is it right to do ?
