I don't like his fighting style, I think it is pretty boring to watch. But it seems like a lot of people want to see him back in the ring for one reason or another. Boxing is now being threatened by another combat sport, MMA, and at this point in time, I believe boxing needs more excitement and more exciting boxers than anything else. Now, what are your views? Would Mayweather's return be good for boxing.. knowing that he ducked REAL challengers from the division he rules and will only be returning to boxing to face a smaller fighter for millions.

I think Mayweather's return is a good one. In my opinion, Mayweather is the best defensive boxer, although he is not as exciting as Pacquaio. But due to his intelligence in fighting, no one has ever defeated him yet. I'd like to see him square-off with Pacquaio.

Is it Mayweather's defensive skills or did Toprank's matchmaker Bruce Trampler had something to do with making sure Floyd doesn't run into prime Freitases and Tszyus while getting belts facing overmatched Gattis and snail-fast Baldomirs?

Well, if yo do not like his fighting style, most probably, you are not a hardcore boxing enthusiast or you are just following manny pacquiao. If you are going to tell me who is that fighter that is really hard to beat and that is Pretty Boy Floyd. I have been watching his fights lately and I must honestly say that Manny Pacquiao is too far as compared to Floyd Mayweather. Floyd Mayweather can evade those punches and defends like a hermit crab. Lastly, he usually find those wholes in the latter part of the fight.

Being a hardcore fan doesn't have to be equated with an uncanny love for watching paint dry. The heavyweight division is lacking exciting fighters that is why it is currently in a slump. Pair Mayweather with another boring fighter like Baldomir and you'll find people booing the fight and leaving before the fight is finished. Sugar Ray Leonard, Whitaker and Roy Jones Jr. had similar sleek boxing styles but they aren't boring as Mayweather.
