I have been a member of helium for a while now and I was wondering how you get a rating star? I have rated about 35 articles and would like to know how Many I have to write before I get a star?

The minimum is 40 articles and that too you rates should have a quality of minimum 75% then you get a rating star..Hope you have a nice time there..

Like arthi said, you need at least 40 rating on any rolling 90 day period. And you [unfortunately] need one rating star to get paid for any earnings on your articles or referrals. I wish I understood how they do the rating scores. I was honest about which ones I thought were better, and at least read the beginning and the end and looked at the formatting. Somehow I only have a rating score of 78%. I dislike the way they rate the quality of your ratings to say the least, but I wish I knew what exactly they take into account.

Its like how much your rating matches the overall rating by all members for that article...The accuracy to the final rank for the article and your regularity in rating decide what score you have...it becomes easier to have a rating star if you rate more frequently as the score required decreases with increasing no. of rates completed for 90 days...Hope I could help..
