what is a true friend to you?

True friends are those friends who don't envy you, help you when needed, and are there when you are facing problems. It is diffuculy to find true friends nowadays, I still don't trust anyone.

A true friend loves me warts and all. They're supportive of my needs and whats good in me, but are willing to tell me that I'm wrong, or that I'm being petty or a jerk and they know that while I might not want to hear it, they are safe to say it and we'll still be friends.

A true friend is always there even if your in your lowest low...like you don't have anything anymore, their still there to support and love you.

As the saying goes, A friend in need is a friend indeed. I have seen people whom I have considered as good friends, turned out not so good when they were not there to help me when I neeeded something from them. But some people who came forward to help me during difficult times eventhough I barely knew them. So I could end up saying whoever helped me as my good friends. No, we cant say that as friendship is something that comes with "no expectations" But I have learned lessons from past that i should not depend on some one too much as he/she is my friend. Then I will end up losing them when they couldnt help me out during any of my difficult times. So, for me, I would never say anyone as my best friend. :(
