not at all, you have to do what is best for your son, and what is affordable. if you are really having some issues, although I can not help with the Autism, I can tell you that I work with a company that sells products that can help alleviate symptoms of ADHD. IF you want to learn more I would be more than happy to share with you the information I have. I am not trying to put a sale pitch at you I am not a sales person but there is clinical studies proving that these products can help with allevinig symptoms of ADHD, allergies, diabetes, fibromyalgia and the like. you can email me at sandraellison72@gmail.com if interested in obtaining more information. Hope you are able to get the help you need

I genuinely hope this situation has been resolved by now. I have basic understanding of the condition however I realise it’s a struggle at times. I hope you aren’t alone in this either. There are many groups around in England that offer ‘parents’ meetings, if there isn’t one in your area, perhaps you should help set on up. Good luck! By even questioning whether you're letting him down, you're doing the best for him.

Autism is not related to innoculations, mercury or any of that. I am the parent of an autistic child and it is mostly hereditry. Some of the newer thinking is that ADHD is the highest functiong level of the autism spectrum. The younger an age you can get your child help the better chances he has at a higher quality of life. It is hard, I know. Do you live in the US? Every state has funding for children with developmental disabilities..though each state gets to choose which ones they will cover. I would check with them or the nearest Autism Society where you live. They have those in many other contries as well. Also if you live in the US..and your child is over 3, the local school district is required to pay for early intervention education for him. That goes for any learning impaired, deaf, mute, blind or otherwise deveolpmentaly disabled child regardless of diagnosis.

ADHD can be treated and sooner is better for child and family. There are many famous people that suffer from it but got over it and learned to live with it-like the UK singer Daniel Bedingfield If you need more information let me know
