Would you prefer going to college or going to work?

Hey everyone, I have seen many people rather say that they would instead of go to college, to just go somewhere and get some quick training and start work. I don't know about you, but I would rather spend another 4 years or so, developing skills and knowledge so I could get a better job. It seems logic to me that instead of going out and quickly getting a job, to study first so you could get a job with a higher income once you get out of College. But the people who want to work as soon as they get out always say "While you are wasting the next 4 years, I will be working and getting money, you won't be getting money!" But after the 4 years are over, in the long run, they will actually be losing because in, lets say 10 years time, you might have earned the same amount of money as the other person who started work before you, and then you would pass him in income. Please give your overall thoughts and opinions. It would be greatly appreciated :D

i would prefer to go to college first instead of working directly. it's strange though because i now have a job that doesn't need a college degree. now i feel like i wasted four years of my life in college

study first before finding a job. it will be easier and you'll get high paid jobs if you are a college graduate.
