where do you get mylot referals from?

I put a link in my blog, but have only gotten two referrals. Both are inactiv. I don't even really remember how I got started on mylot, but I have given up on finding active referrals.

Hello doulaworrks! I got so many referrals too and most of them are not active too. I got my referrals at yahoo chatroom and in friendster. I posted a bulletin, talk to somebody at yahoo and tell them about mylot. Some of them joined but maybe out of curiousity and never go back.

I would like to know the answer to these questions myself. One good idea is to include your Mylot referral link to your email signature. Two, put it in your signature whenever you join any forum. Three, put it in your blog/website. Hope this helps. Cheers and happy Mylotting

unfortunately i don't have referrals. i only had one once, but he was not active now. i find it quite hard to refer friends and family members. because with family members you all need to own a computer and different internet ip's and thats really hard to do. when referring friends of course they will not bother anyway because they would just think that its just another networking site or a scam maybe. i wish to refer people on mylot too. because i want to share with them what mylot is all about and it's really a great site and a way to earn too! anyway, happy mylotting and best of luck to us!

I gained a few by my signature line which prompted friends to ask about it. I did earn well from referrals for a while, but they eventually tired of it and moved on. I don't really have anyone active right now. I have gained quite a few referrals by using traffic exchanges (see my profile for the best, that pays you too!). Having said that, most don't stick around to give myLot a chance and haven't even made a single post. You never know which one might turn out to be a diamond, though, so I keep doing it. It's not costing me anything, and I make a few pennies too.

Well I figure you just have to look for places with lots of other member or social networking sites...like: myspace,facebook,picturetrail,flickr,yahoo,aim,etc. Tell all your friends on your profile pages.Post it up on your profile on other sites or your blog. I was even thinking about traffic exchanges. I have one referral so far, my sister and I will be asking my other sisters and brothers and cousins. I am staying positive and WILL GET REFERRALS ! If you can get someone to buy a product from just looking at it or needing it, even a family member, you can definitely get total strangers to sign up. EVERYONE WANTS TO MAKE MONEY !!!

I do. I didn´t invite anyone but wrote about mylot in my two blogs and my homepage. But still no referral. That´s strange to be difficult to get referrals for such a nice place like mylot. I will now try to invite friends and see what happens.

It's the same with me. I have introduced a lot of people to join mylot but none is active. It seems I am the only one in my circle who is interested in discussions on mylot.

Ya know i'm in the same spot. I have no idea how some people get mylot referrals because i've posted it a few places as well like my myspace page and facebook and even word of mouth with friends and no ones joined yet. I guess they don't find it near as fun as i do to blog here and there and vent some BS and get paid for it. I think mylot should paymore and i think it would be easier to get referrals but hey that's their deal not mine. It's free and that's all i can ask for i guess.

I tried my best to find referrals, i sent online messages to people in other forums, some of them joined but none of them are active. I think they are just curious and after joining, they never post any thing. To be honest, it's really hard to find an active referral. I only have one active referral, that's my husband. He earned me some dollars. I can say that he is more active than me. Without him, i can never reach my payout that fast. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.
