Which language is the most widely spoken in the world? I think it is German. Or is it English? Any one knows?

It has to be English because countries include the usa, canada, australia,India, ceylone Pakistan, Srilanka , west Indies, South africa etc. If not it has to be chinese.

I think Mandarin (Chinese), you could find it in every country. Just go to China town or a chinese restaurant and you will hear it.

English - Most people used English as a medium of Speech all over the world.
English, anywhere in the world can speak, write and even comprehend with it. The easiest way to communicate with others and so easy to learn, just observe members in mylot majority of them used English.

Think about it. There are many dialects of Chinese like Mandarin, Hokkien, Cantonese and so on. So, each language may not be so popular individually.
