Do you think the rich should share with the poor? There are those who say that rich have worked hard and therfore, they have the freedom not to share.

It depend on with whom you should spend your money on if they are very poor and can not work anymore you should give a little money to them that really need.

The short answer: Yes. The longer answer: Those who are rich should donate to charities. They should share their good fortune with those less fortunate. Those who are rich come by it two ways: inherited or earned, and those who have earned it, most likely own a business, and probably have employees, so they had help in amassing their wealth. Therefore, they should give back to the society that they live in that made it possible for them to become wealthy. The trick is, tho, not everyone who is poor is willing to get out and work hard to get out of poverty. Those who do not do anything to help themselves deserve no special help. The rich who have earned their wealth through hard work do have the freedom not to share, but that can be construed as being greedy. And absolute refusal to share through charitable donations is definitely being greedy (as in one of the seven deadly sins, in my opinion). And the degree (or amount donated) is up to each individual.

The rich should not be obligated or forced to share with the poor. However, that does not mean that they should not want to help those less fortunate by offering them jobs so the poor can make money or giving to those who are unable to work outside the home, or are crippled, handicapped, etc. those who if they could would like to work but cannot and that would include those who maybe can just get on the computer at an internet cafe to make a few pennies or use someone else's. So the poor who get the money from the rich should show that they are not sitting on their back side (excluding those who are paralyzed, etc.) So I say no to just anyone, and yes to those who deserve it.

Yes. Those rich people should share with the poor but take note, only those deserving poor. There are a lot of poor in the world and there are poor people who are still capable of working but if they only depend on donations then that is a different story. Sharing to poor people choose depend on their physical incapacity to work, age and location too. There are still a lot of criteria that those rich people should take into consideration. Anyway I admire those rich people who gives and shares a part of their blessings to the less fortunate ones.
