Music can mean different things to different people. There is subsequently no definitive answer to what an individual exposes through either playing or listening to music, but emotion is certainly a factor. I can play my guitar to de-stress, i can play it to give a audible indication of my current mood or emotion. If i am on stage it is generally an emotive performance. I dislike bands/players who stand almost motionless and dreary whilst doing a set. The crowd feed from the emotion and showmanship. The likes of Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson are prime examples of showmen. Their emotions transgress(ed) to the audience who feed on it as part of the performance. Likewise i can listen to music to soothe and calm my state of mind, to match my emotions or simply as a means of entertainment.

Well music is really something to show people's emotions, if you are in love you will sure sing love songs and if you are happy you will sure dance and jump with music. Music enters in your blood and can really change your mood for the day, I cannot imagine the world without music.
