I want to go skiing. Any suggestions?

I live in the Maryland area. My friends and I have been planning to go skiing but have not proceeded with this plan yet. Now that it's the winter season again, we are talking about our skiing plans again. So hopefully there are people her ein mylot in the MD AREA who have some suggestions on the best and the cheapest skiing resort. I have been searching the internet but personal experiences of mylot skiers are very much valuable. Thank you.
