The Media and scientology

I have learned more about scientology.They do not condone or not condone the presense of autism.Last night I watched part of the Barbra Walters show with Patrick Swayze.He was speaking that he has an angel and he spoke of Jesus.That confuses me because I am with the understanding that scientologist believe that the equivalent to our God is an alien.
This morning I learned that some more of my favorites are into scientology,Will and Jada Smith.I guess the reason that I like these people is because not only are they talented but we do not hear about them being arrested and into drugs.
But,I am baptist and believe that Jesus Christ is our savior,however I do like the fact that scientologist seem to follow thru with not doing drugs and doing other things to make life better.
What do you think?

Of course everyone has been hearing more and more about Scientology. I have learned some things too. It does seem that the celeberties that follow Scientology are decent and law abiding people. Thats a plus, I have also heard that they believe in modern medicine, if there is medicine to help, they will take it. I am like you as far as my beliefs. I am a Christian, I believe that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior.

Someone said in a discussion here that the media is worthless,not in those exact words thou.I diagree.I learned about Kawasaki disease and scientology more since it was on the media.That's my point.

I think there are a lot of misconceptions about scientology. I don't know a lot aboutit but some of the things I've heard read on mYlot about it are just crazy. I do know that a lot of people say that they refuse conventional medical treatments and that that's not true. Other then that I don't know what they believe, nor do I care. Everyone that I know of that is one, seems like a great person to me.

I watched this program too. And found myself confused by what Patrick Swayze was saing about Angels and Jesus. I am a Christian and find it hard to believe that so many hollywood stars are into scientology.
