I tend to use a mixture of vinigar and baking soda to clean my dishwasher, I just pour the vinigar into the bottom ( about 2 cups ), and fill the soap dispensing thing with baking soda. It seems to work for me, and its eco-friendly !!!

If you have painted walls you can try making a solution of tide and bleach. Make sure you wear rubber gloves though. Clothes it is best to treat with a laundry prespay as soon as possible. I also make a paste of laundry detergent and scrub the stain with a toothbrush. For best results treat the back of the stain so you are scrubbing it out of the fabric and not in. This is a little trick my grandmother taught me and it works quite well. I run my dishwasher with a calcium and rust remover a couple times a year. I like CLR it seems to leave my dishwasher looking like new. I also use Mr clean magic eraser. I like 409 too as it doesn't leave a residue. I hope some of these tips help. Happy cleaning.

I have to agree with Lisa. Mr Clean Magic Eraser is great for cleaning walls. I use fantastic or bam on the dishwasher, stain stick or oxy clean on clothes. To clean anything that is white, I use soft scrub. It has bleach in it so you want to be careful when you use softscrub, but it works great.

I am not sure on what kind of stains that you are talking about. But I do know that the Mr.Clean majic eraser does tend to clean up most stains on things like that. I had used it on marker and crayon on my walls. I also used it in my truck on grease and whatever else was on it. I hope this helps and would work for you.
