Hiking anyone?

Next week, we would have a long weekend. Jan. 19th is a holiday- Martin Luther King Day. So my friends and I decided to go somewhere. We found a group that offers a hiking activity on Sunday of that weekend. We are praying for a mild weather. These past few days, ice and snowflakes have been with us. Hopefully, for that weekend, the weather would be bearable. I'm not sure if the group will cancel the hike if it is just a little snow or something. Definitely if it is going to be too rough, even if they don't cancel, we wouldn't go. We want to hike but not get hurt doing it! lol Has anyone hiked before? Care to share your experience?
