Russell T. Hartsaw has a new presence online: a wonderful blog!!! http://moreaboutrussell.blogspot.com/ It's an understatement to say that Russell hasn't led an average life. His writings will intrigue you, inspire you, and will, at times, break your heart. If you go there and read what he has to say, that will be something. You can even leave feedback. One more thing you can do--and I'm not going to twist your arm to do this, but I'd be happy if you would--is to click on the option to follow the progress of his blog. I just did. Last time I looked, I was the only one, but I believe more will do this--and, hopefully, some of you who are reading this. I'd love to see a whole bunch of people listed in Russell's fan club. He deserves it!

sounds quite interesting, I run my own e-zine with all my stories and stories from my writer friends, I have been doing that for 5 years now.

Who knows!?! Perhaps the time will come when your e-zine will contain some of Russell's stories! That would be really nice!

Hi Aj1952Chats! I checked on his blog and read all his posts. I can't help but admire the man for transforming his life. I do felt sad learning that his parents left him at a very young age and been left all alone in this world. Whatever wrongdoings he had done, he had paid his debts in full. I do hope he succeed in whatever endeavors he has and will take. I hope more people will support his youth project. I did leave a comment and will check on his blog every now and then. Take care and have a nice day! lovelots..faith210

Thanks and God Bless You! I saw the encouraging comment you left over there, and I know he'll feel really great when he sees it. I think he's having fun writing in his blog. When it comes to his family, my guess is that they probably had to go into witness protection for some reason, and that, being the fact that Russell could be a willful, little kid at times, they couldn't trust that he'd follow directions so that their cover wouldn't get blown and everybody would end up getting killed. But to a nine year old boy, it simply felt like a desertion because he didn't know that it was coming. He's been through a lot, and I'm so glad that he's made the positive choice to use his experiences to help others.

Thanks again for your kind words! I've just written to him to tell him that I've been showing his blog around and, so far, have received only positive feedback. Now, I think I'm going to shut my computer completely off and get some shut-eye! TTYL!
