Where would you go?

I would travel to South America with my toddler son. We would fly to Cartagena de Indies and then out of Rio de Janeiro. I would like to travel overland by bus, train when I have the opportunity and the odd plane for convenience. I would practice speaking Spanish except in Brazil. I would like to sightsee around the historic heart of Cartagena de Indies. Then I would like to cruise around the Galapagos Islands to see the wildlife. It would be excellent if I could walk the Inca Trail in Peru to see the historic sight. I would like to visit a friend in Santiago and go to see the lakes of Chile. It would be amazing if I could go to Rio de Janeiro and see the view from the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain.

My dream spot is Italy, I've always wanted to go there and I am saving to make that trip. I think I may take my daughter with me or maybemy husband also, he may feel left out.

Australia, because you just never hear anything really nasty about Australia. Maybe its the distance but i am so sick of politics and dumb people being allowed positions of power and no one wanting to take personal responsibility for their short comings. I would go alone, and i would get a job and live in peace for a change.
