What is the best time for children to study?

My folks used to get annoyed if I got up late and wasted my early morning time. I used to like to pour over my books at night. Is there any advantage in studying early mornings as compared to late nights... especially for children?

The problem with someone else telling you when the best time to study is that the time varies. It is about knowing and understanding yourself. There is no flat out best time you can't say the best time to study is say 8 am, or 6 pm. It really does depend on the person. Have you ever meet someone who is a morning person, they are so chipper and alert when they first get out of bed ? Have you ever meet someone who seems to be falling asleep as you talk to them, and it isn't even ten pm yet? Ever meet someone who no matter what you say to them in the morning they have no idea what you are talking about because they are so NOT a morning person? Or maybe you are someone who just doesn't study well in the afternoon, it varies from person to person. Unfortunately we live in a world where people want to label everything, they want pat easy answers, we are people and individuals, not a row of cookies made from the same cookie cutter, same shape size etc. It is no different than one person who has a favorite color of blue the other a favorite color of red, neither is wrong, neither is right, it is personal preference. Well the best time to study is not so much personal preference but learning enough about yourself to know when your mind is most alert and therefore most able to retain what you have read. A living example of this is I have an uncle I try to have a conversation with him after 9 pm he is not going to remember promising to help me move, he is not even likely to remember I was there to visit. On the other hand, my mom and I would argue constantly she would say "you said you would do it" I would return with I didn't know what she was talking about, then I learned to change that to "when did you ask me?" When she would say yesterday when you were getting ready for work. I would then just laugh, because I kind of went through the motions in the mornings of getting ready with a mmmmm hmmm to everything then spend five minutes reading a book [for me this worked better than anything to wake me up while it puts others to sleep] so I could drive safely. Getting in the car woke me up. But asking me anything between 5 am and 8 am and odds are I would not remember. Turn that around and ask my uncle anything between say 8 pm and the time he went to bed and he wasn't going to remember. So don't worry about when is best time for children there is no general best time for children. Find the best time for each individual child and go from there.
