What's the 1st thing you do when you login to myolt?

I usually look for the conversations with no response. That's the 1st thing I do when I come to mylot. There are a few interests here that I relate to that have very little action going on. I listen to hip hop. I see conversations that have been started in this category with responses from a year ago so I don't even waste my time checking out the hip hop and rap discussions anymore. I actually responded to a discussion in hip hop that was started a 8 months back and was surprised to get a response. I guess I have to realize that just because a discussion was started so long ago doesn't mean that person is inactive here.
But what about you? Do you have one particular interest that you check into all the time? Or do you like to float around and jump into all the different interests here in the lot? I watch movies alot and I allways say that I'm gonna try to get my name on the movie discussion leader board. i say the same thing about the Watching television interest but I always end up logging on and running into a discussion that grabs my attention, usaully the ones from the no response section.

I read my comments one by one and reply to them as it is so nice to think someone has read my discussion or my comments and it is only manners to reply to them,then I thank people for my BRs then I start on my mail box and I am never let down there are so many to answer and do my best to answer as many as possible,oh and started to check my unresolved discussion there is only one that has not had a hit so thats not bad is it.I like to answer discussions on life and parenting,best but I am open to any the only one I steer clear off is politics as I usually don't check my facts and get told off badly so that is why I have no confidence on that subjectI don't get many hip hop discussions sent to me ,just as well knowing nothing about that racket anyway.So like I sayit does not really matter what subject comes through I can find something to say about almost anything,except Rap and politics.

I don't get to involved in politics either. I give my opinion every now and then but not too often. I usually tell people here that I don't follow politics at all and to feel free to corect me if I'm wrong. Alot of the opinions you can give on any topic is from common sense. But I awlways tell people they should let the politicians do the arguing among themselves.
As far as rap goes, I grew up listening to it all my life. I guess it does sound like racket if it's something you don't listen to. I used to say the same thing about rock & roll. I used to categorize it as the devils music. But now I'm older I pretty much listen to every form of music. I would say that 85% of the rap songs tody all suck!

I usually check friend requests, then check my earnings he he. It motivates me when I see some changes in there. Then I would check responses on discussions I've started, just after answering them I would start checking discussions my friends started. I try to answer to all whenever I can.

I need to start checking some of the discussions I started also because I had recieved a second comment on one of them from the same person and I didn't get an email notification about it. It was 2 weeks old and I saw I had another one from another person that was 1 week old. It ticked me off because the person had some very opinionated remarks and I didn't even now he had responded until a few weeks later.

I usually check to see if anyone responded to my discussions... Which is rare. I think I have pretty triggering discussions, but it just isn't for everyone, I guess. I like to debate, so i can be a little strange sometimes!

As far as people not responding to your discussions, I have learned that many of the more sophisticated, more intelectual discussions from The University Of Harvard don't get that many responses LOL. I started a discussion about how people here respond to tupid/silly topics here at the lot. Many people are more interested in respnding to discussions like what's your favorite color? Some of the responses I got which were very understandable were that, some people here deal with so much of the seriousness of the real world all day long, that they come to mylot to get away from the debates and the other serious topics that are discussed here. They find it more relaxing to respond to a discussion called " What brand of dental floss do you use".
I have gone through the same thing you have. I start a discussion that I think is gonna get a bunch of comments and it either gets none or very little.

The very first thing I do when I log into MyLot is check my earnings from the day before. Then I check to see if there are any new responses to any discussions I've started that I haven't read yet. Then I immediately go to the Photography interest and see if there are any new discussions started. After responding to any discussions there, then I check my other interests to see if there's any interesting topics I feel like responding to!
After that I am answering things that come into my email box from friends and I try to answer those

Hello stinge! The very first thing I do everytime I log in to mylot is check whether someone responded to my discussion so that I could comment to it. I never want to miss commenting all the members who responded to my discussion. Afterwards, I will go to my friends discussion or go to question and answer and mylot interests to see if there are any interesting discussions there.
