A 6 year old boy took his mothers car and attempted to drive to school he made it 10.5 mile before he hit a utility pole. He exited the vehicle and began walking the remaining distance to school. A bus driver reported the accident and the young outlaw was picked up by a state trooper before reaching his destination. He reportedly told the trooper that he was trying to get to school in time for breakfast and his mother would not wake up. When the trooper asked him how he learned to drive he replied "playing grand theft auto" (video game) Although the child's father was at work at the time both parents were arrested and charged with child neglect, it turned out that there was a court order that stated that the child could not be left alone with his mother and his father violated that order by leaving the child at home.
