HAVAIANAS or OTHER BRANDS?

Do brand of flip flops matter to you? Do you choose your flip flops due to its coziness or comfort ability or merely for its brand?
I happen to know people who don't use flip flops which are sold cheap. They have this thinking that if they wore expensive ones, it is much more "IN".
Even if it doesn't look good in there toes.
This is also the same when it comes to clothing lines. People go crazy with expensive clothes regardless of its quality. They are so vain of it. And I don't like it when they choose it just because of brand and the so-called "IN" thing.
Even if the quality or what they wear whether flip flops and clothes are the same with the branded and the unbranded ones. Besides it doesn't defeat the purpose of the said products if they choose the unbranded.

I used to love collecting Havaianas in the past but have already outgrown it already. The brand doesn't matter much anymore, as long as the flipflops are comfortable to wear. Besides, I also don't like the fact that a lot of people have it -- when I wear or use something, I want it to be unique and one of a kind. It's already become a fad, that's why it's no longer that appealing to me anymore.
