Has anyone beern successful at making money with Affiliate Programs

Affiliate marketing works for me but not always. I spent a long time online scratching my head trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Eventually I stopped trying to earn the big bucks through affiliate programs and started focusing on things in my every day life that could make me money. That is when I started earning without busting my butt. For me now it's all about my hobbies. The hobbies that I spend money on are the ones that make me money through affiliate marketing. I was doing somethings where I would make up to $200 a pop. I earned diddly squat. I then started promoting things that would only earn me about $1.00 a sale and now I make hundreds of dollars a month with them. The one I am talking about is in the fishing niche. I now have 6 sites built around different areas, but all in the fishing niche. I have other niches that I do the same thing and earn a couple of bucks at a time and that's great. I have 5 niches that are producing now and that's my goal. I will keep building them. If they don't produce after three months I move on.

Making money with affiliate programs is really tricky. Not tough. You have to select the right product and promote it. I earned around $260 last year with an affiliate marketing. I've described it fully on my blog. I was away from my computer for about six months last year. My day job required more of my time and effort, so I virtually put it to stand-by. Due to this, I had lost around $2 as penalty for being inactive. Despite this, $260 profit for six months is better for me. This year I plan it to make it better. I have done some home work. Let's see the results.
