I noticed that everytime I respond to a certain discussion, I can see a certain tab "mylot code". What is the use, purpose and significance of said button? Your response and opinion are well appreciated. Thank you in advance.

myLot code contains text formatting codes like making a word/sentence in bold letters, italics and underlined. It also contains emoticons which you can place to your posts once you reached 200 posts. Emoticons are just smileys you can add to convey emotion with your posts like a smile , laughter or just being cool . There are other emoticons on the list. Unfortunately, you cannot use emoticons yet. Just keep on posting until you reach 200.

Hi there! The mylot code is where the smilies are hidden. You can only use the smilies if you reached the 200th posts. For me the mylot code isn't that important but I often use it in my posts. I like to somehow express my feelings when I wrote the post. It is adds attraction to the post. Ciao!

Hi snopkitty. Just like you I was skeptical at first about my lot code and wonder how fellow mylotters put emoticons on their posts. I have learned that you could use the codes to put more emotion to your discussion. I don't usually use the bold, italics or underline. I just use the emoticons like this. You would be able to add emoticons to your responses or discussions when you reach 200 posts but we are allowed only three emoticons per discussion or response. Have a nice day.

Awesome. Thanks for posting this discussion and the subsequent answers. I've learned something new! Now I'm off to use bold, italics and underline in my posts!
